Using intense images and texts from Kaczynski’s pamphlets, the result is no conventional biopic but a meditative composition – and an emotional exploration of violence.。本剧以女警察冉咚咚及专案组成员侦破一桩凶杀案为主线，以女主角冉咚咚的夫妻感情生活为副线，双线交织，成功地塑造了一位追求真相、惩恶扬善的女警察形象。在侦破案件过程中，她克服了扑朔迷离的案情、丈夫是否背叛自己的心理干扰以及工作压力造成的轻度抑郁等三重困难，最终把罪犯绳之以法。 根据作家东西同名小说改编。。
