唐慎微是成都人，为北宋著名医药学家，他在多年广泛采集的基础上，于1082年编成《经史证类备急本草》，共32卷收药物1746种，其中600多种是前代本草书中未曾记载的，是中国现存年代最早、内容最完整的一部划时代本草学名著，唐慎微可以当之无愧堪称中华中医领域的药学始祖。。正在休假的警察Darren（郭富城）与好友兼搭档Alex（王力宏）一起出席后者女友的时装发布会时，目睹一桩谋杀案，两人立刻停止休假投入到了破案中。调查时，两人发现案件异常复杂，牵涉到大陆南方某城的一个庞大的犯罪组织，赶赴到该城后，两人结识为调查一宗涉及国际犯罪组织的案件而深入虎穴当卧底的国际刑警Norika（藤原纪香）。 为引出大鱼，Norika铤而走险假扮模特儿走秀，Darren与Alex则在暗中观察，当等来目标人物与之发生枪战时，Alex不幸中弹身亡。伤心至极的Darren发誓要将黑帮铲除，他和Norika也渐渐生出感情。。A pilot is sent across the galaxy through a new device. His mission is to orbit and reconnoiter a planet before returning home. The planet is known to be populated by intelligent life.
