Who but a humble bank...。故事发生在台湾南部边陲小镇。旅社因老板黑猫（陆奕静 饰）得名，她当年可是一名红极一时的舞女，如今的她不修边幅，整日胡吃海塞，完全没有了当年的风韵。旅社内住着三教九流，阿南（余佩真 饰）来自越南，只想挣点钱回家盖房子，身在异乡打工的她心中充满凄苦。老邓（夏靖庭 饰）一直暗恋黑猫，就算入狱也不曾断了念想，这不，一出狱便飞奔到黑猫旅社。浅野先生（荫山征彦 饰）来自日本，明明已经失业，偏偏要装出上班的样子。刘六（温吉兴 饰）因遭女儿指控，整日闭门谢客，连阿南打扫卫生都不能进入其房间。妓女玲珑（黄采仪 饰）年老色衰，与弱智儿子共处一室，她发现自已患了艾滋......。一个平静的夏天，姆明谷爆发了大危机，火山迸发，洪水袭来。水升得越来越高，但在最后关头，姆明一家发现了一栋陌生的房子，结果这不是一个普通的房子，而是一个剧院舞台。。
