It scars and weakens the heart...。故事发生在公元前二千三百年左右，三皇五帝之一的舜帝降生于世，生于姚墟。舜帝面貌本就异于凡人，两眼是双瞳仁，故而其母为其取名重华。重华的母亲握登常年卧病在床，在诞生下重华后，本就对重华母亲漠不关心的姚父，更是对重华母子越发的冷漠，并一直认为重华是一个不祥的“四瞳怪”……。入狱5年，出狱后的曼尼回到了Reno。他搬进了一个汽车旅馆并在EL Cortez工作。他遇上了Popcorn，一个残废的采矿者，他想要曼尼帮忙说服一个有钱的赌鬼来投资他开采金矿。 但是，曼尼无法摆脱它的过去，总是被以前抓他进监狱的警察盯着。当一个毒品贩子的女朋友知道了金矿的事情后，也开始粘上了曼尼，曼尼陷入了错综复杂的危险境地之中……。
