貌不惊人的上班族香住武（竹中直人饰）不知不觉来到了还礼之年，奔走操劳一辈子，他终于从工作岗位上退下来了。此时的香住没有所谓的空虚和失落，反而他更期待开始舒适的退休后的生活。往后的日子里，他漫步城市各个角落，探索一家家知名或不知名的小店，品尝着人间美味，把盏赋流年。只不过美中不足的是，他往往会遭遇一些道德水平不是太高的食客，这些人因为各种原因大声聒噪，寻衅滋事。虽然心中愤愤，但一生谨小慎微的香住敢怒不敢言。而这时，他的脑海中往往就幻化出一名武艺高强、无所畏惧的野武士（玉山铁二饰），对这些捣乱的人施以惩罚…… 本片根据是久住昌之的散文作品、后来由《料理复活王》作者土山茂绘制的漫画改编。。Dom tells the story of Pedro, a handsome boy from Rio de Janeiro’s middle class who is introduced to cocaine in his teen years, putting him on the path to becoming the leader of a criminal gang that dominated the tabloids in Rio in the early 2000s: Pedro Dom.
