抗日战争结束后，威震上海滩的鲁平（何麟 饰）重返十里洋场。在交际花黎亚男（周玖 饰）的生日晚会上，私人侦探郭京（王志华 饰）提醒在场的望族名媛，鲁平已回沪。话音未落，突然停电，待室内重新亮起，宾客们放在银盘里的钱包、首饰不翼而飞。日特庄承一（董霖 饰）被接收大员陈妙根（林继凡 饰）威胁，“兰色响尾蛇”令白显华（胡大刚 饰）干掉不可靠的庄承一，白因贪庄藏匿巨资暂时未动手。鲁平假冒郭京从庄处窃走珍贵钻石，郭京颜面尽失，誓言生擒鲁平。陈妙根贪婪成性，为慑取汉奸资产不择手段，盗用鲁平名义搜刮钱财，最终死于非命。陈妙根之死郭京确认鲁平所为，于是警方对鲁平展开搜捕......。一队动物保护组织者在不知情的情况下从一个绝密研究机构释放了一只基因工程猿，这只猿很快长到了巨大的体型，并在好莱坞开始了一场彻底的暴行。。In 1966 the Spanish Army built a huge cemetery with over 5000 graves at Mirandilla Valley in Burgos for the final sequence in the film "The Good the Bad and the Ugly".
