Alex Freed is a literature professor. He has the gambling vice. When he has lost all his money, he borrows from his girlfriend, then his mother and finally some bad guys that chase his. Despite of all this he cannot stop gambling.。因为憧憬的前辈、摄影部部长牧之原的毕业，新任摄影部部长雨宫五月陷入了消沉。在朋友雾山杏的鼓励下，五月重新振作起来，购买了新的全景相机，却迟迟没有到货。发现卖家就在附近的五月和杏找到了学校附近的粗点心店，与漫画家秋山春乃相遇了。之后，摄影部与敷岛樱子的电影部合并，成为了“电影摄影研究部”（日语：シネフォト研究部），共同帮助春乃的漫画取材。。
