本作品主角三桥廉是个希望自己成为所属球队王牌投手的少年，在中学时期被认为靠着爷爷是三星学园经营者的关系，才能成为该校棒球部的王牌投手，因此队友对三桥有着极大的反感，结果不但造成其在中学三年一胜难求，更导致他懦弱、自卑又孤僻的个性，甚至一度考虑放弃棒球。 三桥毕业后决定不直升三星学园的高等部，转赴埼玉县投考高校，并进入县立西浦高校就读。他在社团展览徘徊，之后抱着只是看看的心情走到棒球部，没想到意外被教练百枝麻里亚半强迫地加入，而且是全队唯一曾经固定担任投手位置的球员，顺理成章成为西浦高校棒球部的投手。 该校棒球部全体成员都是一年级，且刚从软式棒球转型成硬式棒球。三桥在捕手阿部隆也的引导下发挥出苦练而成的极精准控球能力，通过一场场的比赛、兼顾技术及心理层面的严格训练及队友间的紧密互动，三桥逐渐找到自信心及朋友间的信任感，全队携手朝着甲子园优胜的目标迈进。...。Richie and Eddie are in charge of the worst hotel in the UK, Guest House Paradiso, neighbouring a nuclear power plant.
