春假来临，大雄的爸爸从午夜电视里放送的神秘广告中得知白金饭店的存在，那里环境优美，四季如春，远处的雪山则常年积雪，是度假的绝佳之选。但是这个胜地究竟在何方却无从得知，朋友们都认为大雄在吹牛。正当他倍感失望打算离家出走的时候，一个神秘的手提箱送到野比家。通过这个箱子，大雄和哆啦A梦来到了白金小岛。 在这个罕无人迹全自动化的小岛上，大雄他们尽情玩耍，然而不久后哆啦A梦却离奇失踪。隐藏在这个小岛背后的秘密由此慢慢揭开……。This is Alanis Obomsawin's most recent film documenting the Oka crisis (1990)in Quebec. Now a decade later Obomsawin takes the camera to the people of the Mohawk reserve of Kahnawake to recount their experiences and how its affected their lives.
